It is with deep sadness that the FBIHNCAAA notes the passing of Ka’ohinani Kalama, wife of slain HPD Officer Kaulike Kalama.  Ka’ohinani Kalama died yesterday from a health condition that she had been battling for a number of years.  Kaulike and Ka’ohinani are survived by their son Kaumana.

Kaulike Kalama and HPD Officer Tiffany Enriquez were shot and killed while responding to a call in the Diamond Head area on January 19, 2020.  Their deaths were felt deep within the community and within the HPD Ohana.

The Kalama family has asked for privacy to deal with their loss and to heal as a family.  The FBIHNCAAA extends its condolences and asks that each member keep the family in their thoughts and prayers.
